Want to test your shop skills! A simple IC engine will give you a good idea of how frosty your cad, cam, setup, fixture, tool selection, feed, speeds, metrology, even basic project organization and material selection. Using both manual and cnc machines and about every trick you have up your sleeve and every tool in your box! Right down to using a drag knife to cnc cut out the gaskets. This project has dozens of parts, requires custom soft jaws to make some of them. hundreds of cad, cam and g-code files. to keep organized. And I follow people that do projects like 1/4 scale Rolls Royce 12cyl Merlin engines complete with blowers and ignition systems that run! Always humbled by their skill. Anyway, this is a simple Boll Aero engine variant by me. Plans are all over the cloud! Big time skill builder!
