3D printing boat by HB3D

Usually, we show robot milling parts, but today we gonna show you a 3D printing boat from plastic.
This boat was created by Niels Haarbosch from HB3D company in Amsterdam.
“My climate march is a lifetime; first with NPSP from composites to biocomposites. Now with HB3D with large-scale 3d printing. Always with the aim of making beautiful things with as little impact on the environment as possible. Here you see the last product, a (recycled) material test on the 1:2 model of Leon Wokke’s D3aak.
With 3d printing, you reduce waste to zero and the plastic is reusable again. Plastic is beautiful stuff if you use it in the right place.
And for the people who want to get rid of plastics completely, there is also good news; natural fiber-filled biopolymers and biodegradable plastics are on the rise. There is still plenty to innovate.”
