Robot cutting with hot wire

Robot cutting with a hot wire makes roughing out material a speedier process with less residue to handle. In SprutCAM it’s easy to program and simulate the whole series of movements to avoid collisions and accidentally removing too much material. The following roughing step by milling is calculated based on the new size of the stock and any unnecessary air time is excluded. I have plans on building a wire saw for cutting denser material in the same fashion, maybe even wood!
