SprutCAM X Robot accelerates the solution of complex creative robotics tasks.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

MecDATA<\/a>, SprutCAM X reseller in Spain was approached by the company Elrow<\/span><\/u><\/a> to manufacture characters for a series of events called Delusionville, based on a universe of creative characters by an american artist Ron English<\/span><\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ron English is known for his subversive and provocative works that blend pop art, street art, and political commentary. He gained notoriety in the 1980s for his billboard hijackings, where he would alter advertisements to convey his own messages. He has since created a wide range of works, including paintings, sculptures, and installations, that challenge mainstream culture and question societal norms.<\/p>\n

Elrow is a Spanish entertainment company known for its immersive and interactive party experiences. They have gained a global following and have hosted events in cities around the world, including Ibiza, New York, and London. Elrow has collaborated with Ron English to create themed nightlife events based on the artist\u2019s Delusionville universe, a satirical and surreal world that comments on the excesses of consumer culture and the illusions of the American Dream.<\/p>\n

SprutCAM X enters the creative process<\/h4>\n

The launch event was to take place on October 1, 2022 at the famous Amnesia Club in Ibiza. MecDATA was commissioned by the organizing company at the end of August. For the job, it turned to several of its partners: Art3DSevilla, LaserLab, Forth Factory, Metalisold. Rafael Escobar, MecDATA:<\/p>\n

“Elrow called MecDATA to ask us if we can do most of the parts in 2 weeks<\/b>. They sent us the 3D models, we distributed the task and helped some customers to do the programs.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The actual machining of the characters was mostly done by robots running on NC programs generated by SprutCAM X Robot. Thanks to the swiftness of SprutCAM X Robot, MecDATA was able to have all the machining complete within 2 weeks, on an extremely short notice.<\/p>\n

Our vision at SprutCAM Tech. is to provide software that enables clients to seamlessly transition from CAD to finished parts with the fastest turnaround time in the industry. We are glad this was the case with the creative Delusionville project. <\/i>And this is definitely not a delusion.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Elrow is a Spanish company that organizes electronic dance music events internationally and specializes in Techno and House music. Its headquarters are in the suburbs of Barcelona. According to the company itself, they have held more than 150 events, in 67 cities in 26 different countries, with a total of 2.3 million attendees and 800 DJs (2016).<\/p>\n<\/div>
